Role Description:

This is a full-time remote role for a “Business Development as an Associate” position. The Associate will be responsible for sourcing potential clients that have a need in our verticals, particularly in capital raising and our full one-stop service from Web2 to Web3. The preferred candidate can also offer expertise in strategizing and implementing solutions for our clients. The candidate shall also play a key role in expanding partnerships and representing the company globally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities through research, networking, and strategic outreach.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads in line with the company’s target market and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring the successful delivery of services.
    Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships that align with Capitable’s growth objectives.
  • Coordinate with the marketing and design teams to create compelling pitch decks, one-pagers, and other investor-facing materials.
  • Meet or exceed revenue targets by closing deals and expanding existing client accounts.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with company objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activities, client interactions, and business development efforts.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on business development performance to senior management.
  • Represent Capitable at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
  • Build a strong personal and professional network to support business development efforts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the blockchain industry.
  • At least 2 years of experience in sales, business development, client prospecting and/or a combination of it.
  • Strong understanding of blockchain technology, tokenomics, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, as part of a collaborative team, and remotely.
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets.
  • Proven track record of successful client acquisition and business development in Web2 or Web3.

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue high-value partnership opportunities to enhance Capitable’s offerings. Collaborate with industry leaders to expand services and provide robust support to our clients.
  • Client & Investor Engagement: Grow and maintain a diverse Investor network, fostering relationships with Institutional Investors and Venture Capitalists. Represent client projects to potential investors and secure funding.
  • Community Building: Develop and strengthen Capitable’s presence within the investment community by fostering connections and representing the brand at industry events and forums.
  • Operational Leadership: Work closely with the executive team to shape and drive business operations, setting standards for sustainable growth and integrity within the company.

Requirements:

  • Proven knowledge or experience in Business Development, Blockchain & Crypto, Investments, Capital Raising or previously started a business
  • Demonstrated success in raising capital, including expertise in structuring and managing VC and PE funds.
  • Established track record of building meaningful partnerships and expanding professional networks within the financial services and investment sectors.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas effectively.
  • Ability to work autonomously while fostering a collaborative environment with team members across various time zones.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications are a plus.
