Project 5 — Carotenoid: Ketones: Astaxanthin, Haematococcus pluvialis

An ESG Accredited Investment and a true ESG play.

Fighting Climate Change? How? So, what is it? Asparagopsis Taxiformis Seaweed is a native Indonesian red algae seaweed. This edible seaweed captures carbon through photosynthesis, helping to clean and de-acidify the ocean. Also, Asparagopsis Taxiformis Seaweed can help to reduce global warming.

Our Vision & Mission: We wish to advance this business venture, through ongoing marine science research and the development of Asparagopsis taxiformis from hatchery to cultivation then on to post-harvest processing, aiming to achieve a global distribution reach.

Use Cases: To farm Asparagopsis taxiformis seaweed, to supplant ruminant industry as a feed ingredient to reduce and meet cattle farming mandates for lower methane reduction across nations. Here in Indonesia, we focus on running sustainable aquaculture farms in locations which are suited to grow Asparagopsis taxiformis where there is clean and abundant water.

For us, our distribution markets will be global in reach, as the global demand for Asparagopsis taxiformis grows, year on year. To clarify further, sustainable growth and production of Asparagopsis taxiformis in Indonesia is the business model being pursued, we wish to accelerate growth of Asparagopsis taxiformis seaweed output through use of science, innovative technology, and sustainable aquaculture farming practices, to increase productivity as well as increasing local investment and creating local jobs in Indonesia.

Ultimately, we seek to become a leading company in the Asparagopsis taxiformis sector with a global reach. After years of research and sharing information among PhDs, industry leaders, and others, we believe we are uniquely positioned to combine local with international expertise, so as to develop novel technologies for innovative seaweed farming. Technology and processes that will directly benefit a growing list of local seaweed farming communities across Indonesia.

Also very paramount and aligned with our first principles, we are steadfast in our efforts to protect the ocean environment, through the use of environmentally sustainable products. We hope to be able to scale our farming operations, growing Asparagopsis taxiformis seaweed, and also enabling our operations to produce carbon tax credits. Including small amounts of Asparagopsis taxiformis (approximately 60g daily) in the diet of ruminant animals can reduce methane emissions by up to 92%, thus significantly reducing global emissions.

We strive to create a liquid product, incorporating the active compound Bromoform, from inside the seaweed, and then farmers can use this in their cow feed to reduce their overall methane emissions. There are very few companies, in total, from all over the world, working to produce this seaweed and striving to meet this massive global demand.

We seek to be one of two companies in Indonesia farming Asparagopsis taxiformis. Indonesia offers more than 60% reduction in product costs, thus delivering consistent shareholder value and healthy, steady returns.
